Meet the artist
Music has been my language for over 17 years. I have spent that time on stages across the Cape, in ballrooms and chapels, in front of orchestras and in front of one nervous student playing their first scale, and I still get the same feeling every time a piece finally lands.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, trained through Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre, and taught music at Hermanus Highschool before building my own private studio. Alongside teaching and performing, I serve as CEO of SOUL, a non profit organisation close to my heart.
My students range from six year olds to grown ups finally keeping a promise to themselves. Whoever you are, you will get structure, honesty and a room where it is safe to sound bad on the way to sounding good.

Every lesson holds both halves together. We play from the first minute, because that is why you came, but you will always leave knowing why a piece works: the key, the shape, the reason your hand wants to move that way. Progress is planned, tracked and paced to the student in front of me, never to a syllabus for its own sake.

Fees are billed monthly and cover weekly lessons at the length you choose.
FAQ
When are fees due?+
All fees are due at the beginning of the month. Lessons only proceed once proof of payment is confirmed.
Is sheet music included?+
There is an additional fee for all printed sheet music carrying copyright charges.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Lessons not cancelled within 24 hours will not be compensated, though arrangements can be made in case of emergencies.
Is anything needed before the first lesson?+
Any student under the age of 18 needs a completed indemnity form before the first lesson.
How are performance bookings confirmed?+
A 75% deposit is required to confirm and secure any performance booking. The balance is settled on or before the event date.
Do you perform at private events?+
Yes. Weddings, corporate functions, galas and private celebrations, on violin, piano or vocals. Packages start from R5000.
Where do you offer music lessons in Cape Town?+
I teach private piano, violin and singing lessons from my studio in Cape Town. Home lessons can be arranged depending on location and schedule.
Do you perform as a wedding violinist in Cape Town?+
Yes. I perform live violin, piano and vocals for weddings and events in Cape Town and the surrounding Winelands. A 75% deposit is required to confirm and secure any performance booking.
